Return, Exchange & Refund Policy

At Chowk, we pride ourselves on offering products of exceptional craftsmanship and quality. Each item is handcrafted with careful attention to detail. Given the bespoke nature and premium positioning of our products, we uphold strict policies governing returns, exchanges, and refunds, outlined below for your clarity.
General Policy
All sales made on Chowk’s platforms, including online and in-store purchases, are final.
Once a product has been sold, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or issue refunds for reasons including but not limited to change of mind, incorrect selection, or dissatisfaction with the product aesthetics, sizing, or pricing.
Exceptions — Defective or Damaged Products Only
The only circumstance under which a return, exchange, or refund may be considered is if a product:

Is received in a damaged condition upon delivery

Contains a genuine manufacturing defect

Is demonstrably different from the item ordered
Claims under these exceptions must adhere to the following conditions:

Mandatory Notification:
The customer must notify Chowk’s customer support within 24 hours of delivery by emailing chowk.info@gmail.com or contacting via WhatsApp at +91 9978944024. -
Evidence Requirement:
The customer is required to submit clear, time-stamped photographic and/or video evidence of the defect or damage.
Preferably, this evidence should include a video of the package being opened (unboxing video) to establish the condition of the product at the time of receipt. -
Non-compliance with this requirement will render any claim for return, exchange, or refund invalid and non-actionable.
Returns & Reverse Logistics
Once a claim is approved:

Chowk will initiate a reverse pickup via Shiprocket logistics.

The product must be returned in its original condition, with all tags, accessories, labels, and packaging intact.

The customer is responsible for ensuring secure and appropriate packaging of the product to prevent further damage in transit.
Chowk reserves the right to refuse acceptance of any product returned without proper authorization or if it fails to meet the stipulated return conditions.
Refunds & Credit Notes

No cash or monetary refunds will be processed under any circumstance unless mandated by law.

In eligible cases, Chowk will issue either:

A replacement product, or
-
A credit note for the equivalent value, valid for 6 months from the date of issue and redeemable on future purchases.
Non-Returnable, Non-Exchangeable Products
The following categories are strictly non-returnable and non-exchangeable:

Made-to-order or customized products

Sale or discounted items
-
International orders (unless defective upon arrival)

Products damaged due to mishandling, improper storage, or misuse post-delivery
Limitation of Liability
Chowk shall not be held liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage caused by product delays, errors, or unavailability.

Any dissatisfaction resulting from personal preference on product fit, color variations due to photography, or natural differences in handcrafted items.
Chowk’s total liability in any circumstance shall not exceed the value of the product purchased.
Right to Amend
Chowk reserves the right to amend, modify, or withdraw this policy at any time without prior notice. The version published on the official website at the time of your purchase shall apply.
Jurisdiction
This policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising in relation to this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
By placing an order with Chowk, the customer is deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms outlined in this policy.
